Queens Park isn't an area known for its fabulous fashion finds but Merchant Archive has quietly been building a reputation for itself as an unexpected treasure trove.  The shop itself feels vintage as soon as you walk in, the floors in place are slightly uneven, big rustic furniture is both sold and used to present the beautiful jewellery, clothes and eye wear on display.

In addition to stunning vintage pieces - from high end ball gowns to twenties flapper dresses, Merchant Archive have a few select designers.  They currently stock AM Eyewear, the Splendid collection, which offer some of the best T shirts in the world, Made In Heaven Jeans, Bordelle Lingerie and jewellery from Jessica McCormack.  Designers change periodically and they are soon to stock Comme De Garcon and Fleet Ilya.

It is well worth straying from your usual shopping path, the girls are uber friendly, the clothes are just beautiful and the jewellery will ensure any husband has a get out of jail free card.  The shop was also recently featured in Sophie Dahl's new cookery show.  One to watch!
